Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute Conference

ARPKD/CHF was represented at the annual PCORI conference on full scholarship. The theme was "Delivering Results, Informing Choices". Nearly 1,000 members of the healthcare community including scientists, patients, caregivers, clinicians, and payers convened for two and a half days on how to make health research more useful and relevant. Comparative clinical effectiveness (CER) studies, efforts to promote the use of important findings in practice, and key trends were discussed for patient-centered outcomes research, resulting in more informed healthcare decisions.
